Hardwood Sanding & Refinishing by Carpetland

You may be living or working on top of a beautiful floor without realizing it!

If you have an existing hardwood floor, sanding and refinishing can be an inexpensive option for beautiful new flooring.

Carpetland hardwood experts can come to your home or business for a free consultation and assessment.  We will be able to recognize the species of your existing floor, which allows us to patch, repair and even extend into other rooms with a seamless installation that will match your existing hardwood.  Our color experts will be able to match almost any color that you can find.  Carpetland’s hardwood division also understands and can use green finishes with low VOC'S that will cut down on irritating smells.

Carpetland uses a unique dust containment system to make the process as clean and dust free as possible. The work will be set up and managed in a timely manner that can be coordinated around your busy schedule.

Our hardwood division headquarters is located at 920 Lila Avenue in Milford, Ohio.  This location has LEED point experts and showcases the largest selection of green flooring products available; such as reclaimed wood, bamboo, cork, native and imported wood products finished with environmentally friendly finishes such as linseed oil and various kinds of waxes.  We also showcase hand scraped and prefinished wood selections with price points to fit your project or budget. We have been known for over eighty years for doing custom installations, borders and medallions.

If you have been to the Cincinnati Art Museum, Aaronoff Center, Newport on the Levee or Hofbraurhaus Newport, you’ve seen our quality work.  We are often consulted by architects on national projects to help specify the right product and procedure for projects throughout the USA..
